You stay quiet when someone says something that bothers you, then replay it in your head for the rest of the day.
You smile and say "honestly, it's fine" when your partner forgets again, even though you're so upset.
You scroll past a friend's message for days because you don't have the energy to engage, then worry about being a terrible friend.
